The staff were helpful, our room was cleaned each day to a high standard.
The air conditioning was set too cold at 21 degrees and the electricity went off several times .

Our room was spacious and beautifully designed, with a lovely terrace overlooking the pool. The breakfast spread was out of this world.

Very relaxing experience there. Perfect food, excellent service and nice view of the sea. Location close enough to the harbour as well as the Minos as an independent traveller. For shots visit Guru, nestled within 5 minutes' walk of the hotel:)))

The hotel was excellent in every way. The staff was very professional and kind. We loved the view from the balconey (superior room). The pool restaurant had great service and really good food. On Thursday night they had "Greek night" - live singing and dancing - not to be missed. The hotel had a great atmosphere. Especially recommended for mature couples and couples with older children.

Good quality, modern fittings. Interesting layout and attractive pool/bar/restaurant area.
Although this is a 4 star hotel, the air conitioning - which is centrally provided - only operates in July and August, which I think is not acceptable for Crete in June. In fairness, I was given a fan, as my room seemed particularly warm and the busy location meant that leaving the patio door open at night wasn't an option, but it was too noisy and kept waking me up.The smoke alarm has built in coloured lights which flash every two seconds to show that the alarm is working properly!!! This also kept me awake - a real pity as the room was otherwise really comfortable.

The children's playroom was excellent, though not fully ready, and the kids' pool was a good highlight. Room cleaning was perfect, and having a doctor available at the hotel proved invaluable when our daughter fell ill in the night. The air conditioning, unfortunately, was set too cold, which impacted comfort. Occasionally, staff responsiveness felt lacking during peak times, which detracted from the experience.

The Minos hotel is a fantastic base for exploring Crete or just kicking back on the lovely sandy beach just 200m away. The staff treated us like family, especially with a small dog in tow.
My wife says that a later pool closing time would be great for families.
